My first Kia,always had Toyota's. Warranty, service, technology. I researched for month's. Wanted a small SUV,Seltos feels bigger. Embarrassing part was picking it up,bloody big red bow on it lol.
Hah! Do you have a picture of the Seltos with the red bow? :p

Traded in a 2010 Ford Fusion. It was my favorite car ever. It was a very rare 6 speed manual and I loved driving it. Still have sellers regret but with 266,000 miles, she deserved a rest.86374D67-D85D-4801-9E8C-E84097197E02.webpFCC78775-A859-44EB-A8A1-DFAF2C240C85.webp

Right now I drive a 2020 Rav4 but my wife wants the seltos and she’s driving a 2011 Kia Soul with 29000 miles which I tell her it is still in the break in period but its 10 years old.Searching for the right deal.

Mine will be replacing a Diesel Xtrail. Its been good but its diesel and a manual. Im over manual cars.
Will be glad to just have an easy cruisy drive. Dont care about having just half the Nm of torque either. The Seltos when I took it for a good drive back in Feb felt better than the figures implied. Was expecting total gutless but was pleasantly surprised.

Purchased a 2021 LX Premium, traded up from a 2017 Sportage and not looking back! Love it.
Hi. I've seen theres not a huge size, room dif, between the Seltos and Sportage. Well not here in our Australian models.
But im curious as to why the Seltos that sells in the US is called the 2021 when people are buying it and its being sold and marketed there in 2020!?
Not poking fun at you guys over there as you cant control how its marketed but it comes across as a bit odd. I know its Kia marketing doing that there so no laugh at anyone saying they got a 2021 Seltos. Just, well, dont get it!

Marketing most likely, think about it, a 2021 looks way better to sell in 2 years, it being 2022.
Other then that, I don't know. In Canada they were just introduced in the last few months, so I assume that's why they can get away with it. They released them a bit earlier?

I pick it up Monday, was on the lot hidden in the back when i went there. Told them, that's the one. Its funny, because if you go to Kia.ca, the Canadian website, we get so much more on the SX.
Both passenger and driver seat are heated and cooled, heated steering wheel, sunroof, etc. but we don't get the two tone paint yet. Oh, and the passenger seat is powered also, but no lumbar support.

Pretty cool. Yeah, I remember the Optima SX-L having more up there as well. And the Kia Stinger...

Isn't she a beauty lol

My only problem now, is figuring out if i can use 17 inch rims for my winter tires, as far as i know, the lower end models run with 215 55R 17. The big 18 inch rims tend to snowplow in winter, 16 would be even better, but not sure if seltos at any level comes with 16 inch wheels, also 17 inch seems safer for all of the advanced stuff built in. (abs, ECS etc.)

Hope it's OK I bump this thread up a bit. XD

Came from a 2018 Mercedes C300. (Though we also have a 2013 Kia Soul in the car lineup).
I wanted something a bit bigger to pack the dogs around. So far, i've been loving it. :D
